Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently competes in the UFC flyweight division. She is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion as well as co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded an UFC contract after the victory. Antonina Shychenko debuted in the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne modafferi in a split decision following her first fight. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss by prevailing Lucie Prudilova at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by rear naked choke submission. It was the top fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko was victorious in her initial three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
